Refreshments at Pikes Peak range from snacks and sweet treats to juicy burgers, pizza, hearty hot sandwiches and other satisfying fare. And no trip to the summit would be complete without one of our world famous donuts, made fresh at 14,000 feet! |
CRYSTAL RESERVOIR – As you ascend the mountain, take a short break at Crystal Reservoir. Breathe in the fresh air, check out the self-guided nature trail, and treat yourself to something from the Snack Shop.
Summer season hours: 8 AM to 6 PM.
TIMBERLINE CAFÉ AT HISTORIC GLEN COVE INN –
Located midway up the Peak at 11,425 feet, this historic
building doesn’t offer lodging, but it’s a wonderful
place to stop and enjoy the scenery. Have a light meal
at the rustic Timberline Café, and pick up some
souvenirs at the newly remodeled gift shop. Café and
gift shop are open 9 AM to 3 PM from mid-April to
mid-June and late August to late October. Summer hours
(from mid-June to late August) are 9:30 AM to 7 PM.
SUMMIT HOUSE RESTAURANT – You’ve made it to the
top…now sit back and enjoy the view. Take advantage of
the photo opportunities - from 14,110 feet the vistas
are breathtaking. Enjoy a meal at the cozy, recently
remodeled restaurant. Browse the gift/souvenir shop. And
be sure to have one of our world famous high altitude
donuts. (Very delicious!) Restaurant and gift shop are
open 9 AM to 3 PM from mid-April to mid-June and late
August to late October. Summer hours (from mid-June to
late August) are 8 AM to 8 PM.
